In addition to the work we do on behalf of our clients, Berners Consulting worked with leading research instiutes and universities to produce a number of studies bridging theory and practice. These studies are then practically applied to our consulting projects. Examples include Chinese M&A in Germany,  safeguarding intellectual property rights in co-operation with Chinese partners, and increasing the professionalization of Chinese investors in Germany - our publications always utilize new aspects und primary research. This is supported by our solid network of both German and Chinese companies.

In addition, we support academic research such as Bachelor Theses so long as such projects are related to the ongoing China-debate in Germany and thereby strengthen the friendly relationship between both countries.

We are also currently working operating in the area of "intercultural coaching", where our colleague Nick Cheong is currently working on his Ph.D at the University of Tilburg. You can find additional information in the section Academic and Scientific Cooperation Projects.
